November 5, 2014 (Austin, TX)– As we approach the end of the year, Iconixx, a cloud-based provider of Sales and Incentive Compensation Management, solutions, is challenging its customers and partners to make a difference in their community. In place of traditional year-end investments like holiday cards and gift baskets, Iconixx is asking businesses to consider making a donation to the charity of their choice.
“It’s easy for a business to get caught up with their own profits and losses that they forget about the fact that there’s a larger community around them,” said Derrik Deyhimi, Chairman and CEO. “We think that the end of the year is the perfect time to set aside business matters for a little while, and remind ourselves that we can help the world around us. Whether we stop to think about it or not, we’re all a part of a wider community, and it’s important that we do what we can to make that community a better place.”
In addition to challenging other organizations to make donations, Iconixx has big plans for some donations of their own. The company will ask each of their customers to name a charity they would like to support. lconixx will then make a $50 donation to each of the charities named. In addition, the charity that receives the most votes from the lconixx customer base will also receive an additional donation, equal to one percent of the company’s subscription revenue for the month of December.
Finally, Iconixx employees will get involved by making donations to Austin Toys For Tots. Through the combination of employee donations and donations from lconixx itself, the company hopes to make as much of a difference as possible this holiday season.
